The keyboards all work right after startup but start sticking after any kind of inactivity (such as periods of using only the mouse or sleep). I then switched to a new Apple Keyboard I have for my Powerbook. However, the problem continued with that keyboard. I replaced that keyboard with a Logitech wireless keyboard, thinking that the keyboard had a malfunction. The key itself was not stuck on the keyboard. Once the key started repeating, I couldn't stop the typing. Open the Input menu, then make sure the correct keyboard layout is selected. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Keyboard, then click Input Sources. It occurred on any application, including the Finder. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Accessibility, click Pointer Control, then click Alternate Control Methods.
